چکیده
Results Intra-observer variability was assessed using intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC); inter-observer variability was assessed using Bland Altman plots for agreement. Intra-observer variability was low for both observers (ICC; observer 1 EDV: 0.99, ESV: 0.93, mass: 0.94 vs observer 2 EDV: 0.97, ESV: 0.97, mass: 0.94). Interobserver variability was lowest for volumes and highest for mass (Table 1).

Reproducibility of small animal cine and scar cardiac magnetic resonance imaging using a clinical 3.0 tesla system
BACKGROUND To evaluate the inter-study, inter-reader and intra-reader reproducibility of cardiac cine and scar imaging in rats using a clinical 3.0 Tesla magnetic resonance (MR) system. METHODS Thirty-three adult rats (Sprague-Dawley) were imaged 24 hours after surgical occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery using a 3.0 Tesla clinical MR scanner (Philips Healthcare, Best, T...
متن کاملOperator induced variability in cardiovascular MR: left ventricular measurements and their reproducibility.
PURPOSE To assess the intra- and inter-operator variability of the manual planning of cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging and to evaluate the influence of these factors on the functional parameters of the left ventricle (LV). METHOD The study population consisted of 10 healthy volunteers. For each subject the manual planning of the short-axis cine acquisitions was carried out twice by o...
متن کاملNative T1 mapping: inter-study, inter-observer and inter-center reproducibility in hemodialysis patients
BACKGROUND Native T1 mapping is a cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) technique that associates with markers of fibrosis and strain in hemodialysis patients. The reproducibility of T1 mapping in hemodialysis patients, prone to changes in fluid status, is unknown. Accurate quantification of myocardial fibrosis in this population has prognostic potential. METHODS Using 3 Tesla CMR, we repor...
متن کاملQuantitative assessment of left ventricular mechanical dyssynchrony using cine cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging: Inter-study reproducibility
OBJECTIVES To determine the inter-study reproducibility of left ventricular (LV) mechanical dyssynchrony measures based on standard cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) cine images. DESIGN Steady-state free precession (SSFP) LV short-axis stacks and three long-axes were acquired on the same day at three time points. Circumferential strain systolic dyssynchrony indexes (SDI), area-SDI as we...
متن کاملIntra- and inter-exam reproducibility of left ventricular twist measurements using Fourier analysis of STimulated Echoes (FAST)
Background Assessing the reproducibility of new quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) biomarkers is an important part of validation [1-3]. Fourier Analysis of STimulated Echoes (FAST) [4] is a new MRI tissue tagging method that has recently been shown to compare favorably to conventional estimates of left ventricular (LV) twist from cardiac tagged images, but with significantly reduced ...
